A Break, finally!

I am HOME 🙂

I ‘ve just got back from an International conference trip where I was co-organizing, chairing and presenting. It was the highlight of the first half of my year. Before that, I was in a roller coaster: submission time, training at the academy and learning Japanese.

I wrote a reply to someone and I thought I need to document it somewhere here so I can easily read it later (because that is what I do every couple of years: go back and read what I wrote).

“keep doodling as I do it myself.. no drafts, no editing.. enjoy the only place on earth where you are not judged anymore.
Whenever life gets tough on me, I go to this lovely, peaceful place and pour it all here.
These blogs are not what they seem to be. I recall a lot about every heartache, every milestone. I recall the devices I used, the dresses I wear, the different cities where I blogged. I see myself shifting from one phase to another: from student-life to having a challenging career, from believing in love to doubting every emotional state of mind, jumping from one social class to another. I went through all of these details when reading an old blog of mine, and I see myself changing, albeit slightly. Feeling that change makes all the difference. That is why you will always see me coming back here and this will always remain my secret place.”

Having said that, let’s have a well-deserved Kitkat break now:)
